Independents negotiate alone. Buying power, capital access, distribution, marketing reach — every leverage point assumes scale a single venue can’t produce. The system rewards chains and punishes the businesses holding it up.
A seat at the table isn’t metaphor — it’s mechanism. Every party that creates value in IX is rewarded by the network it helps build.
Members earn IX Rewards on every pound spent at a certified venue — redeemable across the network, and convertible into IXT, the network’s settlement unit (1 IXT = £1 of in-network value). Loyalty here isn’t points that expire; it’s value the whole network honours.
Certified operators place a share of their venue’s value into the network as an IXB position — a placement, not an equity handover. It returns to the venue at appreciated value. The network grows because its venues do — not by extracting rent from them.
Suppliers and service providers can take part of every invoice in IXT and hold it like everyone else. Introductions cost 3% — half is minted straight back to the supplier as IXT. Existing relationships: always 0%.
The chefs, bartenders, and hosts who build the venue are set to share in the network through a planned network-wide Employee Benefit Trust. The people on the floor share in what they build — not just an hourly wage.
