Initiative X is a certified network of independent hospitality businesses. Suppliers (wine, F&B, equipment, consumables) and Service Providers (design, accounting, legal, HR, tech, marketing) get one ingress, one standard, one distribution engine across the whole network.
Listed in the certified directory and able to trade with the venues you already serve. Operators sign in their existing suppliers at no cost — existing relationships always carry 0% fees.
Active introductions to new venues across the network. New business IX introduces carries a 3% introduction fee — your monthly fee is credited against it, and half the fee is minted back to you as IXT.
Vetted once, deployed across every IX-certified venue. No per-client pitching. You build the template, we route the venues.
Work paid in cash (your standard terms) plus IXT — the ecosystem unit (1 IXT = £1). Accept up to 50% of invoice value in IXT if it suits your cashflow.

Anything an independent hospitality venue would procure — goods or services. Examples:
5-minute form. Company basics, service category, pricing model. Optional evidence (contracts, insurance) collected at Certification stage.
IX Ops reviews your submission. Portfolio check, references check, documentation review.
Video call to verify fit, discuss first venue match, agree on tier (Foundation / Verified / Excellence).
Service Provider Network Agreement v2.0 signed electronically. Onboarded to IX directory.
Live listing in IX directory. First referral facilitated by IX Ops. Starts earning IXT + cash revenue.
About 5 minutes. Applications go through a 24-72 hour review window before approval. We verify Companies House status, LinkedIn match, photo ID and check for any active disputes. During review you can join as Explorer (free) — Service Provider features unlock once verified.
Once approved you'll be admitted as an Associate (listed in the directory, not actively promoted). To progress to Certified — where IX actively introduces you to venues — you'll be asked later to provide contracts and client confirmations per the 10-pillar framework.
